Impact Polk is an annual competitive, donor-directed grant program of the GiveWell Community Foundation with the goal of addressing community needs throughout Polk County. Impact Polk grants often support a broad range of needs, such as arts and culture, education, health, and human services.

Public nonprofit organizations that serve in Polk County and are recognized by the IRS as described in the IRS Code Section 501(c)(3) as eligible for tax-exempt status may apply for grant funding. Please read the Impact Polk Guidelines for more information.

Timeline

The grant cycle for Impact Polk 2024 is as follows:

  • September 11, 2023  Application process opens
  • October 16, 2023  Applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m.
  • March – June 2024  Final grant award notices sent
